His Majesty King Mohammed VI offered, on Thursday in Sahrij Souani in Meknes, a dinner in honor of the guests and participants of the 14th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM 2019).
The dinner was presided over by the head of government Saâd Dine El Othmani, the presidents of the Houses of Representatives and Councilors, Habib El Malki and Abdelhakim Benchamach, members of the government and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Rabat, as well as than several other civilian and military personalities.
On this occasion, the head of the government awarded the trophies to 26 best production units that distinguished themselves by their spirit of innovation, mobilization and promotion of their products during the 2018/2019 crop year.
Awards of merit and encouragement were also awarded to several exhibitors and participants who have distinguished themselves in the different poles of SIAM 2019 as well as to the best breeders by breed. Switzerland, the guest of honor at this edition, was awarded the prize for the best stand, while the prize for the best foreign participation in the show was awarded to Bahrain.
