The message of King Mohammed VI to Pope Francis

King Mohammed VI sent a message of greetings and congratulations to Pope Francis on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of his pontificate.

In this message, the Sovereign expresses to Pope Francis his warm congratulations and sincere wishes for health, happiness and more success in his noble mission for the dissemination of human values.

The King welcomes, on this occasion, the privileged relations, solid friendship and mutual esteem uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the Vatican City, reiterating his firm determination to continue to work with Pope Francis for the consecration noble religious and spiritual values ​​shared by humanity, values ​​that promote peace, tolerance and coexistence and reject all forms of ignorance, hatred and extremism.

In this regard, King Mohammed VI emphasizes that the Pope’s upcoming visit to the Kingdom of Morocco will be a good opportunity for an exchange of views on issues of common interest and will promote efforts to consolidate communication, dialogue and constructive intercultural and interfaith understanding.
