The “Musée d’Orsay” lends over 40 Impressionist paintings to Morocco

In Rabat, the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art exhibits 42 masterpieces from the 19th century. The exhibition “The colors of Impressionism” will be held until August 31, 2019.

“This is the first time that an exhibition on Impressionism will share some of the wonders of Orsay in Africa and I hope that the Moroccan public will be able to enjoy it,” says Laurence des Cars, president of the Musée d’Orsay.

Placed under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI and the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, the exhibition is composed of Impressionist masterpieces signed by big names such as Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir or Cezanne.
