Moroccan artist Hamid Zahir died on Monday after suffering from the disease in his family’s home in Marrakesh.
The late Moroccan artist suffered from health complications in recent months. He was taken more than once to a Red City clinic, and intensive care was given for days before he left after his health stabilized.
Hamid Zahir, the owner of popular songs such as “Fatima” and “Andi Miad”, died at the age of 81, and is expected to be buried today in one of the city’s tombs.
