On Saturday, Pope Francis visited the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat, where he prayed on the graves of the late Mohammed V and the late Hassan II.
On this occasion, the Head of the Catholic Church laid wreaths on the graves of the late Sovereigns.
The Sovereign Pontiff then signed the Mausoleum’s Golden Book, before receiving a book retracing the history of this place as well as the shield of the Mausoleum Mohammed V, presented by the Curator of the Mausoleum.
Recall that the Pope arrived this Saturday in Rabat for a two-day visit to Morocco.
