The Rotana hotel chain enters Morocco

Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East region, is investing in the Moroccan market. The group announced on Wednesday the signing of a management agreement to operate the emblematic Palmeraie Resort in Marrakech. Located in the heart of the palm grove of Marrakech, the Palmeraie Rotana Resort consists of the Golf Rotana hotel (5 stars with 315 rooms), the Golf Club Rotana (11 exclusive suites) and the Palmeraie Palace (314 rooms), for which a complete renovation is being planned.

The Palmeraie Rotana Resort also has a 3,000-seat conference center, 13 restaurants, in addition to a fitness center. It was created in 1993 on a large site of 230 hectares.

“At Rotana, we continue to follow market expansion and sustainable growth by expanding our presence to new regions. With this exceptional opportunity in Morocco, we have taken a new step in our journey to transform the region’s hotel industry,” said Guy Hutchinson, President and CEO of Rotana.
