The state of health emergency extended until November 30 in Morocco

The Governing Council, meeting this Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Rabat, has decided to extend the state of health emergency until November 30, 2021, as part of efforts to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The Government Council examined and adopted, this Thursday, October 28, 2021, a draft decree, presented by the Minister of the Interior, extending the state of health emergency throughout the national territory.

In order to guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of the measures taken in the context of the fight against the spread of the pandemic, this draft decree extends the state of health emergency throughout the national territory until November 30, 2021.

The state of health emergency has been extended by one month instead of two, as was the case previously, government spokesman Mustapha Baitas said during a press briefing at the from the Council.
