An international site has revealed three Moroccan cities among the best tourist destinations in Africa, and Agadir out of the list.
The World Tourism Site “TripAdvisor” classified Marrakesh as the best tourist destination on the African level in a new ranking for the top 10 African destinations.
“Marrakesh, known as the Red City, embodies the charm of the place with its markets, gardens, shrines and mosques,” he said. Explore the intimate patios and spend the entire day strolling through the city’s historic alleys. Look for inner peace in the Majorel Garden or contemplate the beauty of one of the city’s historic mosques (though you will not be allowed to enter if you are not a Muslim).
In addition to the city of Marrakesh, the classification included two other Moroccan cities, Fez and Essaouira, where the scientific capital ranked fourth, while the coastal city ranked fifth.
