Two Israelis arrested in Marrakech

The Regional Judicial Police Brigade of Marrakech, in coordination with the National Criminal Police Brigade (BNPJ), arrested two Israelis in the framework of the judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office on the dismantling of an active criminal network in the falsification of administrative documents in order to obtain Moroccan identity documents and passports for the benefit of foreign citizens.

A statement from the DGSN indicates that the two suspects were arrested in Marrakech, stating that the searches carried out in connection with this case resulted in the seizure of a Moroccan national card and passport obtained by falsification, in addition to a card of stay of a Latin American country whose authenticity is being verified.

Research and investigations have shown that the two defendants obtained Moroccan identity documents and passports using falsified documents, taking advantage of the services of the criminal network dismantled by the BNPJ in Casablanca on the basis of precise information provided by the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance. The suspects were placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, in order to identify the ramifications and probable links of this criminal network, concluded the DGSN.
