UEMF joins forces with Dassault Systèmes

The Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) and Dassault Systèmes, one of the largest companies in the world of 3D design software, digital engineering and the virtual world for innovation, will sign this April 30 a partnership agreement to create UEMF the largest university digital platform in Africa. “This platform will be one of the important tools for the School of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence which will open its doors to UEMF next September,” said Mostapha Bousmina, President of UEMF . According to him, “the new school, totally dedicated to artificial intelligence, will be the first engineering school of this type in Morocco and also in the Euro-Mediterranean and African space”.

In fact, the school in question will be supported by a high-level research center using technologies of data generation, cyber security, robotics and cobotics, big data, machine and deep learning, networks neurons, block chains, image recognition, voice and movement. These digital technologies will be exploited for applications in the fields of mobile technologies, medicine, renewable energies, agribusiness, automotive, aerospace, banking and finance and other sectors of industry (industry 4.0) using digital technologies and artificial intelligence. An industrial version of Dassault Systèmes will also be implemented later on the UEMF campus.

This center will use the “3D EXPERIENCE” of Dassault Systèmes: platform for teaching and research – innovation that will be open to all students and researchers from the Kingdom and African countries. It will be connected to the 3D printing platform, already set up at the University, and also to the robotics and cobotic infrastructure of UEMF.
