US donates medical equipment to Morocco

The United States, through its diplomatic mission to Morocco, has just donated a batch of protective materials and equipment. The donation was handed over to the National Health Institute in Rabat on Tuesday.

A statement from the US Embassy in Rabat indicates that a batch of protective equipment has been handed over to laboratory personnel at the National Health Institute in Rabat. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) office provided the delivery.

This equipment is intended to protect people at the front in the fight against the coronavirus, which will allow them to continue their work safely, said the press release.

This delivery of equipment is part of the good cooperation relationship between the Moroccan government and the US agency DTRA. A seven-year-old cooperation that is committed to ensuring the security of the two countries.

For the Ambassador of the United States in Rabat, David T. Fischer, this delivery of protective equipment “is a concrete example of the community of interests between Morocco and the United States”.
