VOD: Disney competes with Netflix

Disney has introduced its Video on Demand (VOD) service to compete with Netflix. The big-name company has launched the Disney+ service, which will be officially launched on November 12 in the United States before launching in other countries. With a cheaper price than Netflix ($ 6.99 per monthly subscription), Mickey’s parent company intends to shake up the specialist in streaming movies and TV series on the Internet.

The monthly subscription will provide access to all Disney classics, “Star Wars” movies or the latest Marvel hero blockbusters. The catalog also offers access to Pixar cartoons, National Geographic documentaries and programs from Fox, which Disney has bought a good deal, like the series “The Simpsons”.
