Hungarian low-cost company Wizz Air plans to launch two new air links to Morocco, departing from Italy, from October 2021.
The first Milan Malpensa-Marrakech line will be inaugurated on October 2, 2021. In all, four weekly flights will be operated on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, the company said in a statement. Wizz Air will serve Casablanca from Bologna from October 3, 2021. Flights will be operated every Wednesday and Sunday.
“These new flights will further strengthen the cultural and economic relations that Italy and Morocco enjoy. This will further contribute to the development of the local economy, aviation and tourism, while providing low-cost and high-quality travel opportunities,” believes Paulina Gosk, corporate communications manager at Wizz Air.
Tickets for the Milan Malpensa-Marrakech route will be sold from 29.99 euros for a one-way ticket, while those for direct flights from Bologna to Casablanca will cost 10 euros more.
