Ajax Amsterdam have won the championship leader, PSV Eindhoven (3-1), on Sunday (March 31st) in a match for the 27th day of the Eredivisie.
Back from injury, the Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech was the holder in this clash of the Dutch championship. He came out in the 80th minute to make way for Rasmus Nissen. The other Atlas Lion, Noussair Mazraoui was awarded a red card in the 57th minute of play.
2nd with 65 points, Ajax was able, thanks to this win, reduce the gap with the PSV, first with 67 points.
It should be noted that Hakim Ziyech injured himself during the Ajax match against AZ Alkmaar on 17 March. He missed the two matches of the national team against Malawi (0-0), and against Argentina in Tangier (0-1).
Remember also that the Lion of the Atlas should leave the Ajaccid club this summer. The 25-year-old is coveted by several major teams such as Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Tottenham.
